PROJECT SUMMARY

Under the aegis of MESCO Education Society, we are running Crescent English High School & Jr. College at Kausa Mumbra Dist. Thane. This school is one of the most reputed schools in the area. It is due to the timely support by many philanthropists, we were able to establish an A+ Quality Educational Institution with a magnificent structure.  Since the commencement of first batch for the Board Exam (in the  year 2006), at the SSC Board Exams we had a 100% pass percentage.

Every year we receive more than 350 applicants for the academic for Nursery class (at which level the first admission of 100 students takes place) and the number seeking admission keeps increasing. In order to be fair, we have been drawing lots for giving out the Admission forms. To fulfill the need /requirement of the area, we are planning to set up a new school building on the plot which will help us to educate another 3000 children.

The area of Kausa Mumbra requires many such educational institutions that provide quality education and can cater to many more students.

In order to educate more students, MESCO Education Society (MES) applied to Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) when they advertised for a Govt. reserved plot (admeasuring 54,358 Sq.ft) for school, in Kausa. MES was fortunate to be allotted the said plot lease (with renewable option) and Annual Rent of Rs.1/.

UPDATE ON NEW SCHOOL PROJECT

·        A Lease Deed for the said plot was executed and registered between our Trust and Thane Municipal Corporation

·        A Mumbai based Charity has  supported us for paying the entire Bid premium amount for the said plot.

·      We have finalized the Basic Drawings / Plans for the proposed School Building and submitted the same to the Thane Municipal Corporation for their approval. The Thane Municipal Corporation has approved the said school building plans and issued a Sanction Letter/ Commencement Letter.

·      For the Civil Construction Work, Electrification Work, Plumbing Work and Fire Fighting Equipment installation work of the proposed School Building, we floated Tenders and finalized contractors for the said works.

·       The Civil Construction work is under progress.

·       We shall be happy to share any documents related to the above project.

SQUARE FEET AREA OF THE NEW SCHOOL BUILDING AND ITS USAGE:

The New School building (Ground +4 Floors + (part) 5th Floor+ (part) Basement) will occupy over 90,000 Sq. ft of area and an enrolment of over 3,000 students. The new building will also house another school a Vocational Training School (encompassing 12,000 Sq. ft.) 

TIMELINE FOR COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT

We are hopeful that with the generous support of our Well -Wishers, Donors and consistent cash flow and by the grace of Almighty, we shall be able to complete the construction work of the New School Project in next 12 months and the New School will be commissioned w.e.f. Academic Year 2022-23.

FINANCIAL STATUS OF THE PROJECT:

Till date we have raised (counting few commitments in the pipe line ) around 80% of the total Project Cost; for balance 20% we solicit your generous contribution.

Donations to MESCO Education Society are exempted

under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
